Kenneth Aarón Basman

Was born in Canada; and studied at Berklee School Of music (Composition, harmony and Guitar 1974-75). Particular harmony studies with Gordon Delamonte (CBC Orchestra arrangement and Duke Ellington), classic Guitar with Eli Kassner (Liona Boyd Teacher) and Jazz Guitar with Hank Monis and Art Devilliers. His professional experience includes many styles as: Downbeats (San Miguel de Allende) since 1990. (Guitar player-arrangements) making concerts, recordings and performances all around the Mexican Republic, Heart to Heart (Canada- Mexico 1981-1990), BB Gabor (Canada 1975-1982) working as guitar player, composer and arrangement made two records for Capitol Emi, an other with the producer Todd Runngren (Utopia, Meat Loaf), an a recording with Daniel Lanois (U2, Peter Gabriel, Bob Dylan) and Paul Devilliers (Yes Mr. Mister) Recording, production and Musical Participation in cd records with artists as Lila Dows, Magos Herrera ,Gabriel Hernandez , Jed Paradies , John Rondstadt Doris Rogers, Omar Aran Trio, John Dawson and many others He has collaborated with international artist as Bob Pearson (Sax with Sumatra). Hank Stampf (Woody Herman) y Randy Bernsen (Joe Zawinul) among others Gave Harmony class, guitar and arrangements in San Miguel de Allende, Aguascalientes, León, Toronto Guitar Institute and Toronto Board of Education since 1975.
